Legal Assistant needed for female attorney in solo practice for 48 years – Adoption & Children’s Law – in Northwest Columbus law office. Duties include preparing and e-filing briefs & pleadings; meeting with clients; answering telephones; managing files; assisting with small, quarterly CLE meetings; limited in-city travel (reimbursed). May include eventual accounting duties.
Positive, can-do attitude a plus. Must be a self-starter, willing to work independently while attorney is in court or away from office.
Recent experience in general legal setting is required. Holidays and vacation/sick leave, negotiable health insurance.
Business-casual attire. Free parking. 40 hours per week.
