The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking a Litigation Support Specialist for a position available in the Administration Section, Columbus office. The successful candidate will support the attorneys and other administrative personnel by assisting with day to day discovery and litigation issues especially in cases involving large volumes of documents and data. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze incoming data from all sources and provide detailed reports of same to case teams; - Track, store, and organize data in accordance with proper chain of custody protocols; - Process ESI in Everlaw or other document review or data-processing applications and manage data transfers; - Coordinate implementation of document databases for legal team document review and production; - Consult with Litigation Support Unit Coordinator and case teams to establish workflows that support efficient document reviews; - Analyze work product and create document productions using Everlaw or other document review platforms and perform quality control reviews on same; - Research and identify technical solutions for other ESI projects as they arise; - Train, support, and assist case teams with the best practice use of the firm's e-discovery technology solutions and also coordinate with, and manage, outside service providers and vendors as needed; - Consult with case teams on discovery requests and preparation for Rule 26f disclosures and conferences; - Give presentations on the use of legal technology and the services offered by the litigation support team; - Advise and consult with IT staff on selection and acquisition of new technology; and - Perform other duties as assigned including assigned legal support tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience (litigation paralegal experience a plus). - Thorough knowledge of advanced functions of Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook and Excel), - Adobe Acrobat, and other legal technology applications. - Experience working with one or more document review platforms. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, and verbal and written communication skills. - Experience in training and public speaking.
The successful candidate must have the: - Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. - Ability to perform under tight deadlines and maintain patience in high pressure situations. - Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
